Hertz Engineering Limited successfully carried out the 400V distribution power installation to critical facilities at Cardinal Namdini Mining Limited, ensuring a stable and reliable electricity supply to support daily operations. The project covered essential infrastructure, including:
- Plant Offices – Ensuring seamless power supply for administrative and operational tasks.
- Clinic – Supporting medical equipment and emergency power backup.
- Military Camp – Providing stable power for security operations.
- Police Camp – Enhancing security personnel’s operational effectiveness.
- CSR Office – Facilitating corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Scope of Work
1. Electrical Design & Planning
- Conducted a load assessment to determine the power requirements of each facility.
- Designed a 400V distribution network with proper load balancing and protection mechanisms.
- Identified optimal cable routing and panel board placements for efficient power distribution.
2. Installation & Wiring
- Power Cabling & Conduit Installations: Laid high-quality PVC-insulated armored cables for durability and safety.
- Distribution Panels & Breakers: Installed and configured distribution boards with overload and short-circuit protection.
- Earthing & Lightning Protection: Implemented grounding systems to safeguard against electrical faults.
- Lighting & Power Outlets: Set up energy-efficient lighting and power points in all designated areas.
3. System Testing & Commissioning
- Voltage & Load Testing: Verified power supply stability under full load conditions.
- Insulation Resistance Checks: Ensured wiring and cabling met electrical safety standards.
- Functional Testing: Confirmed the reliable operation of electrical equipment, lighting, and power outlets.
